ABOUT DR. DAVIES
Dr. Davies was born and raised in Waukesha, Wisconsin, graduating from Waukesha South High School in 1992. S A 1994 graduate of Valparaiso University, Dr. Kirk Davies graduated first in his class at the Marquette University School of Dentistry, where he was also an accomplished tennis player. The team captain at both Valparaiso and Marquette, Dr. Davies was named a GTE Academic All-American during the 1995-96 season. He was also a member of the Alpha Sigma Nu Honorary Jesuit Fraternity while attending Marquette.
After earning his DDS degree, Dr. Davies received his orthodontic training at the University of Iowa Graduate Orthodontic Program, where he obtained his M.S. degree and specialty certificate in orthodontics in 2000. Shortly after becoming an orthodontic specialist, he published the article, “Deciduous Canine and Permanent Lateral Incisor Differential Root Resorption,” in the October 2001 issue of American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.
A Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, Dr. Davies stays abreast of the latest advances in orthodontics with memberships in the following organizations: World Federation of Orthodontists, Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Fraternity, Waukesha County Dental Society, Wisconsin Dental Society, American Dental Society, Wisconsin Society of Orthodontists, American Association of Orthodontists and the Bottom Line Study Group. In addition to his accomplishments in the dental community, he was named the 2004 SBA Wisconsin Young Entrepreneur of the Year.
Dr. Davies and his wife, Tracy, have two sons, Kallin and Andrew, and a Golden Retriever/Australian Cattle Dog mix named Herky to round out the family. When he’s not creating beautiful smiles, you may find him reading, studying Civil War history, running or playing tennis. Dr. Davies also enjoys playing the harmonica and guitar.
